Internationally renowned director Adoor Gopalakrishnan will be honored as part of the IFFK. All are keenly waiting for something else; this will be Dileep – Kavya`s first function after wedding. Shutterbugs are in a euphoric mode after hearing this - it seems they will be celebrating it.

Adoor will be honored in this function for marking Kerala in the International map of films. He is internationally renowned and his films have won laurels in many international festivals. He has completed fifty years as filmmaker and this will the event to honor it also. His last film Pinnayum` had Dileep and Kavya as hero and heroine. After the function, this film will be screened for the festival audience.
